Powered by the advanced Intel E5-2600 processor family, Dell EMC’s Unity All-Flash storage systems feature an integrated architecture that supports block, file, and VMware VVols, with concurrent compatibility for native NAS, iSCSI, and Fibre Channel protocols. These systems utilize dual storage processors, full 12 Gb SAS back-end connectivity, and Dell EMC’s patented multicore operating environment to achieve outstanding performance and efficiency. For expanded storage capacity, additional Disk Array Enclosures (DAEs) can be added, and online controller upgrades are available for enhanced performance.
